Pressure Chamber

Pressure Chamber
After I shut off the engine, it seems there should be pressure in the Pressure Chamber. There never is and I have symptoms of a lazy Turbo Control Actuator.
I put a pressure pump on the Pressure Chamber. It holds pressure.
I put a pressure pump on the check valve. It holds in pressure.
I put a vacuum pump on the check valve. It pulls air through.
I put a pressure pump back to the Turbo Control Solenoid Valve. It holds pressure.
This was all done at the two hoses going into the Pressure chamber.
Should the Pressure Chamber have pressure in it after shutdown?

It should still have pressure in it. Does the whole system hold pressure? I.E. if you pump it up behind the check valve, will it hold pressure all the way to the TCA? If so, are you sure it is getting any pressure? Make sure the line supplying pressure is intact. It would be a good idea to hook a boost gauge up to the the pressure chamber teed into one of the lines, and see if it fills with pressure, and how long it takes to leak out.

Good idea. I need to get a cheapo boost gauge so I can run it in parallel with my expensivo boost gauge and watch both maifold pressure and the 't-ed' in pressure/vacuum. Perhaps Pep Boys?
I could check the vacuum tank at the same time.
I did find a pin-hole after the solenoid on the way down to the actuator. Didn't seem to make any difference after replacing the hose. Oh well.
I'm thinking a bad check valve is possible, even though it checks ok.
