Pressure Brake Bleeder for FD

I'm simply making this post because I had a very hard time finding a pressure brake bleeder that works with the FD. I want people to be able to search and find this answer. The Motive Products 1109/0109 fits absolutely perfectly on the FD reservoir which is for euro cars like VW/Audi/Porsche (I use it for modern Porsches on a daily basis as I work for a dealer). Hope this helps people out in the future!

I’ve been using one for several years. Works great on the clutch slave too…which is often a pita otherwise.

I prefer a set of speed bleeders. I have them on all 4 calipers, and my clutch slave cylinder. One-person operation!

Yep, I ordered it off Amazon 2 seasons ago. Had to do it for the RX8, my bros Mazda 3 and, in the future, the FD. The Mazda 3 and FD came with the proper adapter right off the bat. The 8 required a diferent type of adapter. Which unfortunately still didn’t fit well. I managed to do the bleeding but made a mess around the slave cylinder. It was a race to get done while not making a mess.
the change on the 3 was super simple. Since the adapter screws on exactly like the factory cap. No mess, no foul. Did the bleeding in about 30min.
Next season I’ll have to do it to the FD. Since it’ll be 3 seasons next season

This is one person operation as well! If you haven't tried it, you should. Just hook a bottle up to the bleeder screw, open it and sit and watch until you feel it's flushed well enough.

Bench bleeding the MC is a must as well, if you replace it. I also have speedbleeders.

Haven't tried the Motive unit but will keep it in mind it i run into an issue. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you for the recommendation - saw this thread a few weeks from when I needed to flush mine, and no one wanted to lend me their right foot. This thing is awesome.
