preparing FD for storage

Im about to head back to iraq for the second time. the first time i went, the engine on my FC seized up, i never really looked into it too much because i bought my RX-8 and my FD soon after.
Do you guys have any tips on storing the FD? its gonna be a military contracted one, the battery will be disconnected, and im not allowed to have a car cover which is pretty gay. thanks

My son just left town for a new job Saturday and we prepped his FB with a ported 13b. Change ALL the fluids - crank, tranny, diff, rad, and brakes (use silicone here). Fill the gas tank there will be less condensation and less a chance of rust. Add enough stabilizer to the gas for more than the expected layup time. Drain the gas in the delivery tubes and injectors. Take out the spark plugs and fog the rotors with oil turn by hand, repeat turn, repeat to get all the faces then replace the plugs. Put a plastic bag over the intake and exhaust secure with tape or rubber bands. Put some moth ***** in the bottoms of a pair of stockings and hang in the car front and back. Cover the seats and carpet with plastic and put reflective material on the insides of the glass. I don't know how much you will be allowed to do since you said you could not use a cover. We also put the car on blocks and tarped under and over the car which also had a soft cover. Do not apply the E-brake. I stored my 79 SA this way for a ten year period and although it was a little hesitant to start the first time - it survived. It now lives in Houston and the new owner was very happy with its condition. When my son returns his car should be just as he left it. Good luck and be safe.
