i was driving my car today when i noticed my BOV chirping during acceleration. i was in 3rd doing about 40 not really flooring it when it went off. the rpms were at about 3500 id say, when my BOV lets one quick little chirp out. is this normal cause ive never noticed it before. thanks

you should only hear it when the throttle position changes a considerable amount from opened to closed. Also you should have to be at least at the 0psi mark
So nope thats not normal if its a hks ssqv I've become an expert at finding leaks on them

 

My apexi was leaking as well so I deep sixed the piece of poop and am running the stock bov's again. Swap them out and see if it fixes the problem.

 

yea surge monster it is hks ssq. so you think its a leak?

 

Oh man I hate my HKS SSQV due to it's massive leaks it's caused. I ditched it and threw back on the stock BOV and it works like charm.
