Question Pre-Flight Check (kind-of long)

Here is the situation, my car has been under construction (hasn't moved) for a few weeks.
(couldn't think of how to search this topic)

Full Non-Sequential Conversion...and I'm almost ready to crank her. My question is, what should be done before 'trying' to start the motor? Besides priming the fuel system, and filling with oil and coolant, and checking for leaks. (the oil meter pump lines, I can see that the oil in the lines have been victim of gravity. Should I premix a little or use MMO in the gas tank to be safe? Or Pettit lube stuff, probably better than MMO? Or maybe that water removal solution)

Here's a list of what's changed with the NS conversion:
-solenoid rack is almost gone (keeping air-pump)
-Silicon Vacuum lines
-removed DT
-clean/balanced injectors (stock inj, on the printout from RC, it shows on average (not max) they are producing around 80cc over what the stock specs are...i.e. 550cc on average showed 572cc and the 850cc -> 865cc or so)
-replaced y-pipe with efini
-Koyo Radiator /replaced all water lines

I guess another question is, should I flush the new coolant system with 100% distilled water, before filling with coolant? Just to get all the crap that might be in there.

Any advice on any of these tpoics will be apprieciated and on things I'm might have forgotten or have thought about. Such as, With the new air/exhaust path should I add more fuel to idle? I was planning on adding about 4% to be safe, then back it back down once I adjust everything and feel confident.

I'm not going to go boosting around or anything, I still have a few things to do before I go tune with the wide-band (fuel filter, spark plugs, SMIC, hard intake pipes), so right now I'm just concerned with idling and if that goes okay...normal driving, say to the dyno

TIA and sorry for all the mis-spelled words and terrible grammar...if I'm not clear on something, please ask (it's early).

-Carson

30 Views and not one person had any advice??? At least Flame me for something so I know you're at least listening, or is this WAY too long to finish reading?

I think you pretty well have it covered, probably the reason no one has said anything. I wouldn't worry about adding more fuel to your idle, it will probably just idle worse if you do. I recently went single and removed the air pump, I had to actually remove a bunch of fuel at idle to smooth it out.

Well, here's what I would suggest:

Flush the cooling system and then start it on up.

I felt the same way starting mine back up. It really wasn't a big deal though. I had a little bottle of 2 cycle oil in the tank just to be safe. Just make sure everything is plugged in no tools/rags are left under the hood. I didn't touch my idle cells for fuel and it ran fine.

Flush you mean, fill, then empty, then fill again, then start?

Yep, keep running distilled water through it until it drains out clear, then fill it with whatever water/coolant percentage mix you normally run at.
