Pre-Control Actuator Question

I have a problem with my pre control actuator, obviously there should be vacuum and pressure when i turn the car on but i'm not getting either. When i blow air into the Vacuum hose, i hear an air leak or exit somewere underneath the manifold. Should there not be an exit from this hose? If there shouldn't, Im going to have to take off the manifold and look under there to see where it is. What do you guys think is causing no vacuum? This in result is causing my actuator not to open. Thanks in advanced.

the precontrol actuator should be hooked up to the left solinoid (of the pair) in front of the upper manifold. check out this vac diagram... hope this helps

The hose is connected appropiatly , but the leak sounds like it's coming from the back of the manifold. Im going to take the manifold out tommorow and see what is causing this leak.

check it out and post here when you find it. i had problems with vacuum hoses to. my turbo control actuator barely responds to key on key of sequence still.

Precontrol solenoid has 2 hoses. I guess you are blowing air into a hose that goes from solenoid to precontrol actuator below. if thats true, there should not be a leak in that hose no way. on colored vacuum diagram, precontrol solenoid is letter J.

Be sure that when you are testing the seal of the vacuum system that you are checking it with the key on.
