Oh boy, I can't wait to install my DP when I get back! I'll make sure to take pictures, though.

yes, pain goes here -->.

If you can lift the car on 4 jack stands, it would be easier and also the right tools. There is very little room to work with and very limited space. One nut on top can be seen, the other is by feel. Only and big hands don't wfit very well. The other problem is the 4th stud. Not a problem with the M2 version or the JSpec squished version. These would be the "only" two DIY versions. I didn't understand what they meant untill now. The stud hits the DP and you can "NOT" slip a nut on to it!

So this 4th stud needs to be tured 3/4 towards the turbo, removed or replaced with a bolt instead. From the extreme heat the stud could be welded in place and trying to turn it to remove it can snap it off. The left over then needs to be drilled out and at this point you would gladly pay a race shop quadrouple what they charged to take over.

Is wire on the O2 sensor repairable if it broke off? I know I was told it wouldn't be as reliable by a mechanic. Any of you guys soldered the wire back on?

Crimp a butt connector on it, dribble some solder down both ends, and put a piece of heat shrink tubing over the butt connector. Good as new. If you don't have this stuff laying around the shop - why bother.

I agree with Artguy: for such an inexpensive and important part you might as well toss a new Bosch one in and fugghedaboudit.

The entire wire came off right at the end of the O2 sensor. Innexoensive, I thought the dealer one was like $150? None of the other ones come with the wire right?
