Unhappy Power windows not working

hey guys, had another thread that touched on this but decided to make a new one to get hopefully more help.

new fuse in the fuse box, 30a green. still both windows do not work, i have the door open and i don't see anything in there that would indicate something is wrong, IE burnt wiring.

i did have a blown fuse other day due to my mistake of working on the car and the window switch hitting metal when i started it. changed fuse, no problems. now i blew the fuse again im guessing in the same fashion but this time i have nothing.

ive consulted wiring FSM and 2nd step to test the voltage of the blue and white wire i have nothing with the key in the ON position, so its ("Fuse block - Main switch assembly")

im not 100% what that means, and the picture isn't very clear either.

thanks for any help guys

-----------------------

Edit: so i think im just burnt out and its says the problem is at the fuse block itself, loose wires? i shall investigate! haha

shouldnt the passenger switch work regardless the condition of the driver side?

and i checked for voltage at the wire, with no reading. i got burned out in checking things... waiting few days to go at it again.

when you say jump it out, what wires(colors) in the connector would that be?

My power wire was lose at the connector at the door. White wire, bottom, towards the rear of the car.

Fixed it by pushing it in with a set of pliers.

I spent hours figuring it out

When i had this issue it was the big wad of wires that run from the chassis into the door..
It gets damaged from opening and closing over the years..
check there

edit; pretty much the same issue as the above poster

I think I have a bigger issue... Found out my window wipers stopped working also

So that's my ignition, windows, wipers, and HVAC blower.

All these went out at the same time other day, any ideas?

Check the black and blue wire on the main fuse block. This wire is at the bottom of the fuse block and is the last connector towards the front of the car. I know the power windows and ignition are on this circuit.

Well what I did was, find the connector of the motor of the windows , there's is 3 connectors on In a row , where door handle are in "normal car".
Looking from inside you want the want closest to the back, it's a 2wire connector that goes to the window motor.

Cut the 2wires (solder back after)
Apply electricity to it, the windows should go down or move a bit, if it wants to go up just reverse the electricity , it will go down

it was the first thing I did to my FD
When I bought it I had to put it on a flat deck for 3hr drive on a raining day, the car had no battery/engine

Do I get 20$ :P

Actually this one
Apply power to it - to the left side and + to the right side (or reverse it) to roll up or down

I'm no mechanic, but that's one lil thing that I know
