Power Meter HP Rating

I finally set up the blitz sbc-ic power meter so that I can find out what the rear wheel hp of my car is. At 10 psi the hp was 284hp. Then I turned it up to 13psi (it was hovering around 13.2 psi) and got 314hp. I didn't have time to turn it up to 14.7 psi so I didn't check the hp at that setting. What do you guys think about those numbers? Is that about right for my setup (mods are in the sig)?

Hey Rad,

Congrats on the High HP figures... but the Dragstrip or Dyno will tell your true HP figures... then you can compare to the Blitz Power meter to see how accurate it is.

I think that the power meter is similar to a G-tech for HP. Which is probally pretty close...

I will probally want to change to non-sequential as well.

By the way you should post some pics of your car on here...

How do those things work? I mean, the G-tech just plugs into your cigarrette lighter, right? How can it measure all that stuff?

PS - Nice power!

I thought that the hp ratings were consistant with my setup. M2 and Petitt say about 320 rwhp with these mods. But I could be wrong. Jack I will try to post some pics of my car after I find a digital camera.

From what I can see those HP #'s are pretty consistant for your type of setup, I've seen those numbers duplicated with basically the same mods you have, your car seems like it's where it's supposed to be at.

Accelerometers! They measure the force applied, you enter the weight with the driver & occupants, it does the math of the applied force over a period of time...
