power to manual steering rack questions

I'm a little confused. Do you completely get rid of the parts(oil seals, o-rings) circled in orange? #26,#29,#30,#28,#32,#22.

also the backup washer #27, do you keep that?

it makes no sense to keep them since they are seals for the cylinder, but i want to double check!

My rack started to leak and I've been debating weather to rebuild or manualize I hope you get the answers haha

After thinking things a bit check the Miata site for their manualization of the Miata rack I believe it's pretty much the same proceedure
