Power loss in my FD under power..
Can anyone here help me figure out why Im loosing power sometimes under hard accleration..
It seems like when Im hard on the power in 1st, then shifting to 2nd it seems like power drops off ..
I can let off the gas & shift to 3rd & just cruise for 10 sec, then stomp it again while still in 3rd & the power is back .. It only seems like Im having this problem after 5k rpm's ?
Fuel problem, or boost problem ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

did you check your vacume lines? you could be lossing pressure due to a vacume leak even tho your boost gage is reading full its reading that at the turbo manifold if you got a leak say to your blow off valve thats only bad enough under high pressure the air seeps out which in turns starves the engine of the air its expecting giving it too much fuel an chocking her a bit. But I'm no mechanic just imaginative.

I just put a 1" into 2" adaptor onto the 1" hose that connects to the manifold.
I dont think it is leaking anywhere around the fittings I put on, but the hose that connects onto the manifold itself seemed a bit stiff & the factory clamp that holds it on didnt seem to be as tight as the ones I used for the adaptor ..
I needed this set-up cause the inlet on the BOV is 2" & I wanted to install it close to where the stock BOV was instead of getting the BOV adaptor boring a hole & having someone weld it onto the intercooler piping.
Ill replace that clamp tomorrow & see what happens ..
If that dont work Ill move on to bigger sugjestions, that Im dreading..
Thanx guyz..
