power loss at 6000rpm

power loss at 6000rpm
when running 3rd and 4th wot i somtimes experience i significant power drop at around 6000rpm. it feels like i jerked my foot off the throttle. only last a split second. any ideas?

no mods. don't know what the boost is doing. i only recently aquired the car and will obtain a guage immediately. a friend suggested it might be my throttle position sensor malfunctioning. does this seem likely.
