Between those two, use the PowerFC on an FD.

As far as having tons of online support and a history of success the Power FC, but both need to be tuned so really you need to find out who will be doing your tuning and ask what they suggest.

Both are plug and play. The PFC cost less then the AEM, but requires a Datalogit to properly tune.

i would say the AEM is a superior ecu but for an FD, so many people use the PFC so the support, maps, and help will be a lot better with the PFC so i would go with the PFC.

The ecu is only as good as its tuner and it will be easier to find a good tuner on a PFC for a FD.

Pick the ECU which has the most support closest to you. i.e. find the closest tuner or person who you plan to help support it and see what they are familiar with.

Maybe it's worth making the distinction here.

cant agree more!! I had the power fc in my fd when i first got it, and my tuning shop wasnt familuar with them, but they were big into the aem stuff.. so i bought the aem and they tuned it and it works great still to this day.. the pfc is a fine unit tho so i cannot knock it.. I just chose the aem due to the shop i was at..
