Power FC pins missing

This normal? Car ran fine. Found it during my rebuild and haven't looked at the pins of any other Apexi ECU so, no gram of reference. Thanks

The previous owner took out the pins rather than cut the ECU wiring harness. Personally I prefer to cut the harness, as that voids the PFC warranty.

What would have been cut from the harness? What functionality is lost?

Wires would have been cut in the harness.

You lose functionality for your Japanese EGR valve.

There are pinout differences between US spec and Japan spec cars. The PFC has the Japan spec pinout. To get it to work correctly in a US car you have to make sure that a small handful of pins/wires aren't connected.

TL;DR: Don't worry about it, it is normal on a US car.

SR removes the pins on the PFCs they sell. This does void the 30 day warranty with Apexi, but they also refuse to service it outside of the warranty period.

Pins are for the EGR and AWS.
