Power FC and Boost

I have a new engine 1.1k miles, with no cat exhaust and a greddy intake, How import is it that I get the car tuned. I am currently babying the car around, untill I can find an ecu upgrade. Where is the best place to get a Power FC? Do I still need to run a boost controller with it, or can the PFC do that? If I do still need to find a boost controller what brand do you suggest. Also do you know of a good place to get guages and guage pods?

pfc can control boost for a mildly modded car.

in my setup I have a boost gauge in front of me (because I like to have it in easy eye sight, and because it's a defi, it has peak and record functions that are very useful). I use the pfc for all my other monitoring.

get your pfc tuned and get the boost under the whip at the same time: two birds, one stone. Of course, you might not 'need' tuning at this stage - but it certainly won't hurt.

You will probably experience boost creep, which no boost controller can control. These are basic questions that could be answered by reading the FAQ thread or by searching.

If I were you (which I was) I would get a boost gauge (if you don't have one) and a boost controller. Manual or electronic. I partial to the greedy profec B spec II.

Personally I would wait on the PFC a little bit just to make sure that there aren't any gremlins with your new engine and mods.

Just make sure you don't exceed 10 psi of boost and you will be fine.

Cool gotcha..wait on the Power FC, I am probably going to install an intercooler before a get a Power FC. How does running a boost controller work with the Power FC If I up the Boost on the Controller how does the Power FC know to change fuel maps? Does anyone know where I can pick up a PowerFC and or a good Boost controller and guage.
