Potentialy buying a 3rd gen, a few questions

Hey guys, Im usually around in the 2nd gen forums, but i might be getting a 3rd gen as well, so i just have a couple of quick questions.

I was wondering how reliable is non-sequential turbos compared to the stock twin scrolls? Also, is it safe/possible that the 3rd gen is running 11's (1/4 mile) on 10PSI on a street ported motor with about 10k on the rebuild (with 2 layer apex seals)

The owner told me him and the owner before him often took the car to the 1/4 mile runs and does dougnuts on the cars. knowing this, should there be any wear and damage i should look for around the axle, shocks/towers, or anything?

Mods include: greddy intercooler. greddy pully kit. greddy elbow. ricks rotary downpipe. greddy boost controller. hks dual intakes. koyo radiator. walboro fuel pump, exedy racing clutch, tein springs, and a apexi power FC

Please let me know what you guys think
Thanks!!!

Well, for the non-seq turbos...Im not sure if I would use the term "more reliable" as oposed to easier to trouble shoot. There is less potential for problems, but they are still the same old turbos the car had on it when it was sequential.

For the PO and racing the car with occasional doughnuts....Just know if you buy it that it wasnt babied. I dont think doing doughnuts is that hard on the car's chassis/suspension, as it is on the engine, because frequently when doing doughnuts, you can bounce off of the rev limiter, and sustained time at redline isnt good for longevity.

If it runs good, and gets good compression, Id say for the right price, go for it.

Update:

Just remembered, the car has been stored for about a year, batery is dead, and has a rusted exhaust(Can this lead to other rusted areas as well??).

Those are pretty good 1/4 mile numbers for the mods you mention and street tires (would like to see it) rust id pretty esay to find if you look in all the right places as for the motor it would depend on how and where it was stored having sat that long.

thanks guys... the car has a salvage title due to theft recovery (Everything was stripped including engine), and the owner just restored it.

10 PSI will not run 11's, that's stock level and 14 flat is norm. With street tires and 14PSI high 12's with stock twins.
