^^^ comptech i see your 500whp or bust statement. i think your wallet will emplode before its busts. It will just keep asking the same question over and over. Where did all my money go? but I have a different goal 200mph that will ultamently end in the same way as your goal. paycheck to paycheck. but i have 200 bucks in power mods. est 255whp.

FromSilvia2seven My wallet has all ready done that. Every pay check I get goes to it. Other than that I am still going for the big HP. I would like to see the 200mph as well. By the way when you do get to the 200 mph make sure that you get video of it.

As far as I'm concerned, this is all that matters:

Engine
• Low compression (clearance) Ceramic coated brand new rotors
-Define "low" compression

• Intake and exhaust street port

• 1600cc secondary injectors 750cc primary
-That's going to support 1000?

• T-88 Greddy turbo
-At what pressure?

• High flow (race) fuel pump
• 4 inch turbo-back exhaust
• 60mm wastegate
• Michrotech eng management
• Custom CAI
• Stage 2 racing clutch rated for 850 lb/ft torque
• Custom A/C Condenser coils
-WTF does this have to do with anything?

• HKS Twin Power Ignition + Wiring Harness
• Magnacore 10mm Ignition Wires
• Pettit Hi Flow Cat

I dunno...just a street port? 1000HP seems like a tall order to me. But that's just me.

- Low compression has a larger combustion chamber. High compression rotors have a smaller combustion area. The compression ratio is higher. If you want a full in-depth definition talk to the guys in Calgary, Canada who sold me the kit. They have done over 30 3 rotor conversion so I trusted them.
- As far as the A/C coils it was just in my list I copied. I still have A/C and power steering.
- And yes just a street port with slight bridge porting (sorry I forgot to add that one) but I didn’t want to sacrifice idling, because with a race port and a full Bridgeport idle irregularities are common, I didn’t want that.
And everything on the car contributes to the power and longevity of the engine keeping it operating low temps therefore letting me run higher boosts safely.

As for the boost level imp not sure what it has to run at to obtain that number but it’s not ridiculously high, so says my Canadian friends...

- And I’m sorry I forgot to say I also have an aquamist injection system being installed this month and a custom water spray kit for the oil coolers and intercooler.

I've heard of 6mm seals, so 3.5mm don't seem out of the question, maybe custom fabbed

Which Aquamist kit and what size injector?

What fuel injectors to get 1000hp? Not 750 and 1600 for total of 4700cc?

What water spray kit for IC?

Thanx,

Ken

my math say 3x750 + 3x1600 = 5550cc

I think he said it was a custom spray kit for his oil coolers

the aquamist kit is the 2s fully mappable one .6mm is the nozzel size.
as for the compression ratio i believe its 8.4:1 however i will have to get that info because i didnt document that.

you get the engine from www.rotaryengine.com guys in Canada? Have there own custom sub-frame, etc.

Not sure what you meant by slight bridge port. Either it has a bridge port or it doesn't, it's not like, "I had a slight street port where they just smoothed out the ports a bit (but didn't actually enlarge the ports that much)."

it's a 1/2 bridgeported engine there is more room left between the peripheral housing and the side housing than in a full brideport so its kinda like a 1/2 Bridgeport I guess. Yes those are the guys by the way they are very knowledgeable and extremely nice and do their own conversions and make all their own custom parts in-house.

Looks like you should not be correcting people's math.

3X750= 2250
3x1600=4800
------------------
total= 7050

Anyone know if he actually reached his horsepower goals?

(sorry to resurrect the thread, I'm just interested in seeing if RX-7 specialties horsepower estimates they gave him were at all accurate).
