FSM = Factory Service Manual. You can purchase it from any rx7 dealer, it comes in 2 formats. 1 is a smaller book version, and the other is a larger binder version. "Rear package tray" according to page S-56.

 

before meaning before the theives stole my entire system out of my car. So now the trunk is stripped and only the relocated battery is there. Don't worry I'm not a ricer I've got the single turbo muscle to back that look up.

 

damn, i've owned an fd for a little over two years now...and this whole time i didn't know it had a trunk????? ....hahaha

...doesn't it have to be large enough to fit atleast 2 shoe boxes in it to be considered a trunk???

 

The Part Number for the Rear Package Tray is FD05-68-310C $396.50

The Part Number for the Strap to lift is 2x EA01-68-313 2x $6.50

I think the Rear Package Tray was only availible with the Sunroof option.

 

damn.. you people look at every little thing huh.. well I didn't take that pic.. the previous owner did before I bought it. I'm assuming it was right after it was started and it was still warming up.. cause I have no problem with the idle.

 

You gotta be kidding me. Nearly $400 for that thin *** flimsy retarded piece of fuzzy tissue cardboard!?!?! Wait a sec, maybe I'm thinking about the wrong car here............ but still, $400 for that tray is a pass for me.

That price is from a Mazda Dealer. I'm sure you could find one cheap from someone that doesn't use theirs or salvage.

 

 

I killed tupac...what size magnet is on the XTANT sub that you have....looks like a 120 ounce...I was just wondering.

 

i couldnt even fit one 275 40 17 in the trunk when i blew out the back left. it was even pretty hard getting my 235 45 17 in the back when i blew out my front right

I'm running 245/45 on stock 16" rims, they fit in there fine. Any bigger though and I would think you might be in trouble...

It could have been purchased separately, but I have a Base model with the package tray and no sunroof.

Another fun tidbit: the strut bar that can purchased separately or with a roll bar from M2 comes with threaded holes to mount the clips for the package tray front "hinges". You might have to ask for it, but it is a nice feature.

In the parts manual the Rear Package Tray part number has "Sunroof" in brackets so I assumed that is part of the sunroof option. I could be wrong.
