Post pics of your cross drilled rotors!

I am in the market to buy a set of cross drilled rotors.... I want to see the different makes and brands to compare them..... I would like to see who has the one with the most drilled holes.... Please post the brand name, hole count, price and picture....

Thanks,
Dwayne

Here are the pics of my rotors before installing. I have 33 holes in the front and 27 in the rear iirc. I cannot remember where I bought them from, or how much I paid for them. I will have to go and check out my receipt and let you know.

*Sorry it is a large pic.

I personally would not go for a brand just because of the number of holes in the rotor. If you get to many drilled holes they tend to be closer together and cracks form between them from the heat. I have seen this on quite a few cross drilled rotors.

I am a bigger fan of slotted rotors. This is just my personal preferance. If your in the market i would stick to the name brands with good reputations regardless of what style you go with.

These aren't crossdrilled, they're slotted/dimpled. I'd much rather have a set of completely solid rotors, but I got such a smokin deal on these, I couldn't pass it up.

i think the all drilled looks alot better than with the slots. The same rotors that the 996 porsche turbo comes with.

Hah, good call Damon.

I think it's a travesty that x-drilled rotors are perceived as being "higher performance" than solid or slotted rotors, when the opposite is true. What's worse is when the big car magazines or other similar entities reinforce this lie.

On my Formula C racecar, I have not used drilled or slotted rotors for over 20 years. Your crack pics are one good reason why. Two others are more pad wear and less heat capacity.

Modern pad materials don't need the holes or slots to vent gas buildup.

Before anything I am anti drilled rotors.

Why is it that EVERY single JGTC GT500 and 300 team simply uses slotted rotors?

hmm, I've always heard that the drilled rotors cracked as well.

But I cant help to think that there has to be more to it then that when I see sl500s w/ drilled rotors, as well as 911s.

Are the aftermarket cross/drilled rotors just engineered poorly? what gives?

people think they are "high performance" so they expect them to be on a high perf. car... another guess is that the rotors are so oversized on those cars that it doesn't make a difference unless they track it and run the **** out of their brakes. i think that other thread that was linked to has the answers you're looking for.

...nothing fancy, just drilled slots with stocker kicks. Painting calipers red this weekend!

P.S. ...my previous owner's horrendus rims (Konig Verdicts) did some rubbin' as you can see!
