on the bad side though, you'll have to worry about people taking your car, keying it, breaking into it, stuff like that. the extra power will also get you into trouble if your not a very good driver or just dont have good sense. push it too hard and it will push back... just buy enough insurance and you should be fine though so don't worry too much.
lolz thats like saying, if your girlfriends is fat and ugly, atleast ppl wont hit on her roflamo ...

there are always excpetions, but generally a NA fc is way way more reliable than a fd, modified or not.. so as for the original question "i just need reasurrance that trading for a fd will not sacrafice the reliability i enjo from my fc"

your not gonna get that reasurrance here, if you do, some1 lie to you. iim no expert, but i dd a fd myself. and if youve read any of these threads you shoulda known you cant expect that kind of NA reliability from a fd.. i think a little bit of denial plays a part with a lot of ppl when purchasing a fd

a fd is not a reliable car. your setting yourself up for a nightmare but if its worth it to you go ahead and do it. also nafc is not as expensive as a car. anything from the factory is about 2-5x more than a FC part. good luck!

FD's are reliable, its just that sometimes people dont look after them. My FD is my dailly driver and sure ive done an engine and had a few other minor gripes (damn hoses) but it is nothing out of the ordinary for a car so old.

Just fill it up with quality petrol and treat it with care
