Possible replacement for OEM Pulsation Dampener?

Has anyone looked into an aftermarket replacement for the fuel pulsation dampener? I was browsing Taka Kaira's site and came across the SARD Fuel regulator, and it mentions pulsation dampening as a feature.

there is a difference between a pressure regulator and a dampener..

dampened dampens the fuel flow... regulate sets the pressure

I know that, but they said this in the text:

SARD adjustable fuel pressure regulators for EFI engines utilizes extra light weight diaphragm assembly that provides excellent pulsation dampening; to dampen the pressure spikes caused by high flow fuel pumps and cycling injectors (especially non-factory high flow fuel injectors).

So is their definition of pulsation dampening different from the mazda definition?

I'm about to replace my dampener - I've been sniffing traces of fuel in my engine bay, and if the OEM one fails as much as it's said to, I'd like to find out if there are any alternatives.

You might make sure it's your FPD leaking first, it could be your injectors, or a fuel line, hose, etc.... You might replace the FPD for no real reason.

If I were you, I would take time out to see where the fuel leak really is before looking at alternatives to the FPD.
