You should be able to find one with a blown motor for way under $10k.

Don't be dismayed by the haters.

Snook showed you a link to two very nice cars for sale,...

http://www.peachcities.com/ford.html

Check them out. There is hope for you, and a pretty decent FD CAN Be had for $10-11k as much as some may object to...

I know I myself wanted to buy Blown for $6-8k and rebuild myself. As well, you can find FD's with new (or rebuilt) engine/turbo's for $12-14k, which might be possible for you if you take out a loan?

Good luck .

I just bought my 93' rx-7 a few weaks ago from a used car dealer in ca.it had 5 owners and 135,000 miles on it.he was asking 14grand I got him down to 12 grand.there was a bit of a oil leak I know about, but didnt think much of it.I noticest after driving it around, then when it idles it starts boiling over and over heating.I feal like I got ripped off.I took it to a rotory engine machanic.and he found out one of the turbos was not even working.and the the oil line to the turbo had a big rip in it.so I just desided to buy a new rebuilt motor.so in all im paying 6grand for labor and the engine.but thats not including the turbo cause that has to be replaced.so far the car is costing me 18 grand, and now I have to deside if I want a rebuilt stock turbo are a single turbo kit. doe any one know much about this stock rebuilt one has any one here buy it berfore?http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=220&1=316&3=565

but just make sure you really check out the car and deside if this is what you want and are willing in the neer future to rebuld the motor.I really wanted this car for a long time ,its my dream car. I plan on making it show.

i used to have a 93' silver touring. I got it for $9800 with 127k on the car. Stock motor and everything and it ran fine. It had a little low compression on the rear rotor but nothing that stopped me from driving it to work everyday. Basically the owner before me took very good care of it.
