Possible for my turbos to send coolant out of the exhaust?
I've been putting this off for 2 weeks because I don't know if i can take anymore bad news. Anyway here's the long and short of it:
The SHORT version. What is the likelihood that my old wornout 80k+ mile turbos could have an internal leak causing the car to barely run and constantly blow white coolant smelling smoke out of the tailpipe on my 15k mile engine with no warnings?
The LONG version: I have a 1993 with ~80k+ miles on the wornout turbos (been smoking blue for around 15k miles). I have only 15k miles on my mazda reman that's about 3 years old. Car hasn't run hot or given me coolant problems since my new engine. I take a normal 15 minute drive to a friend's on a 70 degree day. I get back in the car and it starts billowing white smoke out the tailpipe. I think i also saw some under the hood but that could have been from wind blowing it back under. The car is definitely losing coolant out of the tailpipe and didn't start the next day. I can get it to start now but it's definitely getting a lot of water into the rotors. Runs pretty rough. This happend all of a sudden and for no apparent reason. I've lost a coolant seal bf and i could hear it gurgle after i parked and the temp gauge was a bit erratic. This isn't happening this time. What is the likelihood that my worn all to hell turbos are causing the problem rather than my low mileage engine?
Feel free to ask for any details i may have left out that might help.
