Possible Blown Seals..
Ok, so heres the problem. I own a rx7 FD3, and recently i replaced the inlet manifold gasket.
Sadly, it now appears that the seals could of blown. I appear to have no compression when the engine turns overs (and does not fire) and iv carried out a compression check with sad results. I was just wondering if there is any other possibles before i go ahead and start trying to solve this task.
(my options are, replacement engine, reuild of mine, or rebuild it myself although im not totally familiar with these engines, i am farely compitent and managed to replace the inlet manifold gasket... for those that know, not the easiest job)
Any help would be Greatly appreciated on this

have it rebuilt by a reputable builder, check out your regional forum as there are usually people there who can direct you to a good shop. Replacing the inlet mani gasket is a walk in the park compared to what will need to happen for a rebuild, and will be a lot more time consuming.
Just took a look at your other thread, check the MAP sensor, it will be on the drivers side if your car is LHD on the engine side of the firewall at the top. It will be right next to the brake booster with a vac hose coming from the TB running into it, and a 3 wire plug running out from it towards the fender. Maybe someone else can get a pic up later, but its pretty hard to miss. One thing that might be worth checking is just pulling plugs and rotating the engine by hand to try and see the seals from the plug holes. As someone said earlier, they may just be sticking which would be good as then you *might* and I say MIGHT be able to get away with the old ATF trick, but thats hit and miss.
Search function is your friend, but if you did blow it, I would send the engine out if I were you since it sounds like it would be way over your head.
Best of luck either way though.
