posible boost spike?

I was doing a small 4th gear pull today messing with a Porsche, and at 5000, 6000, and 7000 rpms it seamed like the car was hesitating. All I have done to the car right now is intake dp and it looks like it has a 3inch exhaust unless thats stock and Im sure it has the stock cat on it. The engine is a jdm engine that I just put in not long ago, so it already had all the emissions removed but other than that it just has the reliability mods on it. Anyone know what could be causing this? And could someone recomend someone in the jacksonville/orange park area of Fl to look the engine over for me?

Do you have a quality boost gauge? If not, you need one and a way to limit boost if it is going over stock levels on the factory ecu.

'Possible' boost spike? Jeebus. Get a boost gauge fercryingoutloud.

High rpm hesitation is more likely ignition breakup. How new are the plugs and wires?

Regardless, you should find the budget for a boost gauge. Just one good for testing will run only $30.
