Ok, advise time. We are going to be porting the engine in a 3rd gen. It has (is going to have) a downpipe, stock turbos and maybe an upgraded muffler.
Which ports need the most work? We are trying to do this so we don't need a fuel computer either.
Its better to have smaller primarys to increase port velocity at low speeds right? So mild porting up, and out a bit would be best right?
As for secondarys, is it ok to have more overlap in the secondarys than primarys? opening the port out more will increase overlap a bit.. GOOD/BAD?? and of course go up a bit in the port for increased open time. Should I just extend the port up not out so there is less overlap and boost won't leak through to exhaust? Same for primary, leave the 'out' part alone?
Someone correct me or steer me the right way. This will be my first porting job on a TT. Pics would be good also
