to port or not?

i am getting a new engine put in my car.i am debating wheter i want to street port it or not.i know you get a nice hp increase but what are some of the pros and cons?i use my car as a daily driver so i don't know if it will effect idling and reliability please post any info.

A week after the engine is broken in you will be kicking your self if you don't
Just be sure to tel them its a daily driver and don't go so large on the ports that you lose low end torque.
