Question Pop off valve?

What are the pro and cons of pop off valves?
anyone has them?

I don't think there are cons but I know they benefit alot if you should ever have any boost spikes. I had one, but never installed it. I would get one for sure if I have another turbo car. You can set it at say 12psi and you will NEVER boost over that. Big insurance

its a great thing to have to prevent boost spikes but you should not used it to control boost regularly, it will kill your turbos (causing them to over spool/spool too fast)

Using a pop-off valve to control creep is a REALLY bad idea. It will cause the turbos to over spool just like skunks said. You need to port the waste gate or install a restrictor plate. Pop-off valves are good for spikes and insurance and that's it.
