1. Own a set of ramps that you can drive out on, stand under and detail it.
2. Own several cars for work and more work. Rx7 and vettes NEVER see rain, snow, mud, etc.
3. My two Rx7s are 400hp, single turbo show/go cars that I drive in the Spring/Summer months to car shows.
4. Enjoy working on cars and modding them out
5. Never let problems like leaks, things broken, etc to pile up. Remedy them ASAP. Face it, these cars take patience and time to keep in tip top shape - Am I Wrong ?

The brace looks really good. As far as detailing the undercarriage, naaah. I'm only underneath my car if I absolutely need to be.

Looks sweet! Do you have solid mounts for your motor and diff too? I would think you would have to.

Yes I did install solid diff mounts - that was a separate Garage install some time back.

What did you use for the diff and motor mounts? How would you describe the noise and vibrations, significant or minor?

The car looks so clean, it looks like a fresh assembly. Pressure washer? Do you clear coat the aluminum parts? How many miles did it have on it when the pic was taken? Gorgeous job and attention to detail shows nicely. I'm jealous...

Is the "ppor man's" part simply that you bought the stock, cut, bended, welded, and powdercoated it yourself?

To answer the gentleman above - yes I bought the flat plate, cut it and bent it myself - then painted it. Same for that Diff brace ( see the other thread )

To answer this gentleman -

What did you use for the diff and motor mounts? Stock motor mounts and the XS ( I believe ) solid diff mounts. How would you describe the noise and vibrations, significant or minor? Little bit of sound transmitted thru the chassis as normal - no vibrations

The car looks so clean, it looks like a fresh assembly. Pressure washer? Correct - and some detailing work.

Do you clear coat the aluminum parts? Yes, you are correct - Krylon clear.

How many miles did it have on it when the pic was taken? 66K

Gorgeous job and attention to detail shows nicely. I'm jealous... Thank you

Tom
