Poor man's non sequential
Poor man's non sequential
After doing a search on simplifying vaccuum hoses for non sequential, I noticed that a lot of people get stuck on what to do about the fuel pressure regulator. I guess it depends on your set up so I'm a bit lost. I'm running the purple computer, and stock inijectors, stock fpr but after market fuel pump. Do I need to by pass the fpr? if so how?
how can you bypass your fuel pressure regulator? no you need that. What you need to do is bypass the solenoid for the regulator. I have a pettit ecu and aftermarket pump and I'm non seq this is how you do it.
Take a vacuum line and run it from the fpr down to the nipple on the lim that is facing toward the firewall. The nipple is on the inside of the lim near the engine block. That's it, make sure the vacuum line is silicone and long enough so that it doesn't kink up.

So normally there would be a hose that goes from the fpr to the solinoid then from the solinoid to the nipple on the lim right? So I just yank the solinoid and run a hose directly from the fpr to the nipple. Right?
just another abbreviation I've picked up
lower intake manifold
kinda like
dp, mp, cb, fp, fpr, tca, tps, dt, aws, crv, pcv, ic, wg, bov, uim, tb, cv
that's all I can think of
