Poll! I HAVE TO GET RID OF THE 7 OR THE PROWLER!

Ok heres the deal. I can keep only one. My fd isnt at all finished, needs motor and paint and all that but I can finish it OR keep my yellow prowler. The fd would be yellow with burnout kit and work wheels and 400 hp when finished. Its a '94 with 40k on it. I have the only one in the county and all surrounding counties. I have about the only prowler too, its a 2000 & has 21k on it with a couple lil mods that can be changed right back to stock. I owe 30k on it yet and the 7 is paid for.
So give me all your opinons & comparisons. I am also 6'6" so neither are somthing id take on too long a trip. The prowler really isnt enuff power for me but grabs lots and lots of attention. Noone has seen my 7 nor knows i have it and noone really knows what they are here. The prowler handles curves better than nething I have been in but i have only been in the fd when it was stock. Wish I could keep them both but I cant. I appreciate the help and opinions. Thanks!

The prowler will not out handle the FD in my opinion. They are both uncommon. I live in podunk ville and there are 4 prowlers here and 5 FDs.

I have never liked the damn prowler. Keep the FD put the burnout kit on and get it on the road.

Plus, you wont owe anything once the prowler is sold, since the FD is paid for.

i understand your bind. but really, ask yourself what do you enjoy the most. i know the prowlers are only automatic, not very fun to work on but have a very unique bling factor to them. which car gives you the biggest hard on to drive? also, personally, if it is not the kiss edition prowler or tie edition, then get rid of it. if it is purple, get rid of it by this weekend!!!

what really sux, is when you have to choose between a GF that offers great sex and ******** or the FD. well... i still own the batmobile... yeah...

keep the fd...give you something to do(finish the project)
prowler never really did anything for me...if you want a hot rod looking car, build a hot rod....
and i personally think the fd look ten times better , and think it'll be more of a collecters car....(if your planning on keeping it that long)
good luck with what you do...

I never got the prowler, besides the whole exotic-looking thing.

2838lbs, 253hp. .85 on the skidpad and 6.4sec to 60mph according to edmunds...you're talking rsx/si/cobalt numbers there, not high-end RWD sports car numbers.

edmunds recorded 0-60 in 4.9 for a 93 rx7 and though there's no skidpad number i'd bet my left foot its higher than .85.

I like the rear and sides but not so much the front end of the prowler. looks better without the bumpers. I love every view of my fd tho.

Do the FD man. Personally, I wouldn't of paid 5k for a prowler off the show room floor when they still made them.

The prowler is intersting because it is different but thats it. I say keep the prowler if you want attention. If you want a car you will like then keep the FD.

Sell the prowler to fund the FD project OR sell the FD and continue building the rotary and put it in the Prowler !!

Why is this even a question?

The prowler is ******* horrible.

Im sorry but it is. The styling is disgusting, its slow, they didnt even come in stick and the sales were horrible (which leads to the car sucking lol).

It was like an attempt to bring back an old hot rod look and failed.

I saw like 2 since the day it was release and 1 of them being an owner that owns a shop that i happen to pass by every now and then.

Keep the FD is what im saying.

I love the prowler but it sounds like the FD will be really nice when you complete it. Since you still owe on the prowler i say sell it.

The reason the Prowler is rare is few wanted it! If it was that hot they would have made more of them! FD is for people who like the looks, feel', and need to get rid of money!!!

It's a shame that they didn't put a Hemi or shoehorn the Viper motor into one of those. Otherwise the choice is pretty easy. Sell them both and get a new Challenger!

They only made so many because alcoa made the aluminum frames and they would only make so many for chrysler. Hopefully I can sell my prowler if I do decide to.
