plug n play ecu questions

so im gonna need a modified ecu soon n came across a few like pettit unlimited an m2 and some g force one does ne one know much about them ive heard good things. my setup is almost every bolt on on factory twins would like to make bigger numbers safely, running a bit more boost. i dont want to go all out tuneability like a pfc yet. ne links or info would be appreciated thanks.

As far as US based rechipped ECU's, Pettit is about the only one still in business. M2 and Gforce are both gone, but their ECU's can still be found used. Pettit has two versions of their ECU: Limited (fuel cut ~14 PSI) and Unlimited (no fuel cut). Their map is otherwise the exact same between the two.

On stock ports, you can expect around 320-330rwhp depending on mods and boost level with a Pettit ECU. Some people have gotten up to 360rwhp with ported motors and full bolt-on's, but 320rwhp FD is more than enough for most people.

I had the M2 ECU before going PFS. It is very good for you basic 3 mod rule. It runs 12 PSI and richer fuel maps. They can be had relatively cheap too. I sold mine for around $350.
