i always love the bandaid comment.
If that's the case, the engine should have come with bandaids from mazda. For every one post about water/meth/alc. inj, there are 100 posts about "i think my engine blew".
I use water/alc as insurance. Why? Because a crack in the silicone boost line to the profec kept the WG closed, caused an overboost, and blew the engine. So, if a $200-$400 set up can help prevent me spending $2000 and 40 hours to rebuild an engine because a $2 hose cracked and blew a $20 apex seal, then I'm all for it.

I have also heard of it causing rust on intake pipes, inside of the intake manifold, and rare cases of it rusting the insides of engines. Has anyone ran into such a problem?
