please read and answer if you can

I had a 94 last year and sold it, dont ask why, and bought a 93 about 5 months ago. All of the suspension mods are identical on the 93 as they were on the 94. Both cars have 18 Volk Te37 with 235/40 F and 275/35 R. Both cars have Eibach pro kit springs with Tokico 5-way adjustable shocks/struts, both set on #3. Both cars have a Cusco front strut tower brace and all sway bars, front and rear are stock, as well as the bushings.
My question;

Why in the hell does the 93, my current car, feel loose in the rear end and not near as quick in steering response when everything is the same.

I have no broken sway bar mounts, that I could see.

Are the sway bars, front and rear, and upper rear strut brace, all the same from 93 -94.

Is it possible I have some bad bushings, I do get a clunk noise occasionally in the rear of the car and with the car on jack stands if I grab the rear wheels at the 9 o-clock and 3 o-clock position, I can move the wheel back and forth a bit.

Would bushings make this big of a difference in handling?

My 94 felt like it was on rails and this 93 feels like a worn out *****. I hate it..

I think that the 93 had a little smaller rear sway bar.

Sounds like your pillow ball bushings may need to be replaced.

I'm not sure, but I think the 93 had a bigger rear sway bar, causing the car to oversteer more. I think they made it smaller in 94 to make the car more neutral.

I know I need rear toe links, but it doesnt seem this would justify such a major difference between the two cars.

It isn't a 93 only problem as far as I know. My 93 feels like it's on rails, y'know, on and off ramps at 50-60 without tire squeel. I have no clue how to drive, so I've never pushed the car, but it certainly does not feel like a worn out *****.

It must be your car specific, if that helps at all.

i know for a fact that the 93's have bigger diameter anti-sway bars.
but i think the problem is you higher mileage/more worn bushings.

I've got a 93 Touring, and I can take freeway entrances so fast my damn eyeballs start to swim in my head!! Tight as hell, and stock suspension. Just giving a data point

Your alignment (toe-in, camber adjustment) at both ends can play a HUGE role in how your car feels in corners (although the fact that you can move the wheel with the car on jackstands points toward worn bushings). And since you didn't mention it, have you checked your tire pressures lately?

tire pressure is good. Its not that the car doesnt handle good in corners, it just feels like its loose if you are doing slalom movements.

1994 has caster in the front changed so that the FD is more stable.

Check your rear toe control arm (the one angled backward). If the bearings are worn or the pillows on the lower arm (the one sticking 90 deg to the center line of the vehicle) then it'll fee looose.
