Is it cutting out when you are accelerating or braking? Did this problem just start or did it get worse with time? What kind of vacuum are you pulling at idle, what kind of boost pattern? Does the car stumble at all?

Give us more information (description) on the operating conditions so we can help.

it cuts out while accelerating and the engine switches off completely,it did this before a while ago but it was o.k after .it started again 2 days ago, i went somewhere and it was o.k but when i went to leave it whouldnt start ,it would start up and then the revs drop to 0.i dont have a boost guage yet but when it dont do this problem the car goes smooth.

Check your plug wires and your coils. Mine was acting similar because my L1 wire had 14k ohms of resistance.

Check for a plugged tank vent line.If it's plugged the fuel pump can't pull fuel against the vacum in the tank and kills the motor.the next time it dies take the gas cap off and see if it restarts. This problem is more common than you think.
