PLEASE HELP! Trouble w car could inflict date

Here's what happened:
Took a friend for a 'test' cruise around my block. Got back to the driver-way and the car was idling rough. Turned the car off. Later, I had trouble starting the car. I had to hold the accelerator to the floor for the car to start. When the car started, it still idled very rough. I upped the idle to 1000 with the commander. It idles around 1000 but it idles very rough!
I look at the voltage for the 02 nd it spikes up to 1.11 when idling!
The car drives the same, just idles like pur doo-doo and is harder to start. I'm guessing it's a hose somewhere.
Please advise!!!! I have a date I can't miss tonight and would hate for the car to not start at all.

haha, the title reminded me of a time i was on a date and my clutch slave busted on me. good thing she was strong enough to push my car

check the hose on the map sensor on the firewall. it has a tendency to pop off and cause rough idling. do a search if my description of it was not good enough, somewhere on the forum is a thread with picture of it.

Check the map sensor man...it's located on the other side of the firewall (in the engine bay) opposite the steering wheel. There's a small hose that plugs into the underside that pops off.

Get some *** for me brother !

Unfortunately, I've had the hose to the map sensor pop off in the past. It's not that. The engine still "runs" good. Just idles like doo-doo and real rich.
I did a search in the forums and from what I gathered, it could be a blown engine. If the engine was blown, wouldn't it run like **** though???
My car still drives, so by the grace of God, my stick shall perpetrate some *** tonight.

The last time mine blew it was exactly like you described - rough idle but once you got rolling it acted completely normal. Turned out to be a small piece broken off of an apex seal on the rear rotor. If you don't find anything obvious, I'd get the compression checked just to be sure, and if you don't have a warranty I'd just drive it until it dies - not gonna cost a whole bunch more to rip it down in this condition or worse condition.
