Thanks for taking the time to read this message and I hope you can help.

I live in Spain and I just sold my car to somebody that is taking the car to Norway. He was going to drive 2500 miles my car is stock other than the AST.

I replaced the pettit AST myself and I didnīt replaced all the coolant I filled up the amount of coolant that was lost. After that I overfilled again the coolant and I drove the car for 25 minutes and after I park it the car leak the extra coolant. After that the car run OK and the light of the coolant didnīt go on or nothing. This people came they drove the car for 1 hour and the car was OK.
Then they drove the car for 4 hours and after they were driving the car at the speed of 75 m.p.h. the temp gauge went up and the coolant light came on, the car now starts but then it stalls.

Cold it be air in the cooling system that I didnīt purge the air properly?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

I feel really bad about this situation even that I sold the car already they left yesterday morning and this morning at 7:00 a.m. they call me, they are very nice people and belong to the forum, they donīt speak spanish so they call all the time to translate what people
say.

I just found out that the coolant light kept coming on a couple of times and they refill with coolant and kept driving after the light was off.
