Please help me out, service manual wasn't enough.....

Hey, i recently posted about the possibility that i blew my motor, basically i was racing a guy, going like 130, when i let off the gass the car turned off. It wouldn't restart, i popped the hood and noticed that the hose that supplies coolant to the throttle body was no longer connected to the nipple on the throttle body. Well i've spent probably half an hour or more, looking for that hose. Before i ordered a new one, i wanted to make sure i wasn't just not seeing it. So i would greatly appreciate it if you one you guys could look under your hood and tell where the other end of that hose is connected, neither the service manual nor the parts diagram at mazdaformance showed where this hose connects, or that i could find anyway. It seems like a fairly short hose from the picture in the mazdaformance diagram. Its possible thats on the side of the road somewhere, and thats my current guess, but if someone could tell me where to look for the other end i would greatly appreciate it!!!! Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this thread and especailly to anyone willing to take time out of their to help a fellow FD owner out!!!! Thanks a lot guys!
-Rob

PS: i'll post a picture later tonight of the missing hose, but i've attached an older picture where i've done my best to show what i'm talking about, even though you can't see the hose or the nipple you can see the part of the car i'm talking about

that hose goes to the right hand top of the motor. i think you need to make sure the add cooant system works, after you put the new motor in

hey, mike, thanks for the response, but are you sure?
THere is a hose that leaves the lower portion of the throttle body and connects to the upper passenger side of the motor. I'm referring the top nipple on the throttle body, and i don't see anywhere else on the area of the motor your speaking of that would accept a connection. I thought the nipple where i'm missing a hose came from the radiator and was the "supply" coolant line to the throttle body and then from the throttle body it went to the motor. By "right" hand top did you mean driver side? I haven't seen any connections here that aren't already connected to a coolant line. THanks for the help!!

Maybe this mod was done to your engine already:

Throttle Body coolant bypass

If you look at "missing hose 2" i'm prettyre sure there is a hose attached there, and i've never removed it intentionally and i'm pretty sure i've disconnected and connected it the two times that i've removed the UIM since buying the car. And the bottom hose shown on the rob robinette sight is definitely still running from the throttle body to the top of the passenger side of the motor on my car.

Come on guys, surely someone can tell me where this hose goes or give a me link to a diagram that might show it or a page int he service manual that i might've overlooked. Here's a much better picture of the hose i'm missing, although i think you could've figured out which one it is from the the previous attachments. If someone could just pop their hood next time they go out to there car and let me know where that hose goes i'd greatly appreciate it!

I know which one you are talking about but I did not look when I was under there switching out my injectors. I will take a look tonight but I am sure that if it is not connected to the top then it is not connected to the bottom or you would see it. Either way, I will take a look tonight and try to get back to you asap.

that hose goes from the top of the throttle body, to the passenger, right hand, top of the motor.

SOrry to question you before mike, i believe you, i mean that would make sense, i just couldn't find anywhere on the motor that was missing a connection. Is it easily accesible? Is it just a simple clamp connection? If the hose flew off during driving, would the motor overheat like crazy?

Thanks for posting the info again instead of gettin defensive since i questioned you before?

isn't there a hard metal pipe which part of the solenoid rack which runs up there. Runs by the coils to the back. I believe that the rubber hose just comes of that.

One of the throttle body hoses, I'm not sure which one, goes waaay under the UIM and connects to the top of the block. That might be the one you're talking about, and you will have to remove the UIM to get at it. Its burried really deep, and you might to remove other stuff to get at it. I replaced mine when I was replacing the LIM gasket, and it still was not easy to get to.
