That is a really good intercooler.

I felt a really significant power increase.

It loooks like you are running it on a single turbo car???

Because the intakes arne't there and it's missing the piping for stock turbos.

I once had that FMIC on my red car. Would buy it again if I could.

Cool

Shiny! So tell us where you got it, and how much you got it for! It looks THICKER than most FMIC's I've seen?....

Would it be ok to run the APEXi GT FMIC on stock twins with the following mods:

dp
apexi n1 cb
m2 stage 3 ecu
HKS BOV
apexi intake

what positive effects would i get with putting in the APEXi GT FMIC with those mods? any other mods i would need to get the GT?

pm for info about my fmic on how much i paid where i got it etc boostin with those mods you should have an upgraded intercooler if you are still running the stock i'm sure its being overworked. you will get more power of course and no heat soak with a fmic. you might to get an upgraded radiator while pulling everything apart

I just put the Apexi kit for the twins on my car. It is a very nice intercooler. I just don't like the blue piping. The kit was very thorough and complete.

I also like the stealthliness about it b/c it does not go all the way to the front of the bumper, instead it sits back a bit.

The intercooler is very effective too. My stock one was always getting heat soaked. After intstalling the Apexi kit, I had to drive over an hour to get back home. I made several high speed runs ranging from 150mph to a new personal best of 175mph. Then right before I got to my house I ran from 0-80mph and then I pulled into my driveway. I put my hand on the left end tank and it was a little hot (about 100-105 degrees), then I felt the other end tank and it was very chilly (about 50 degrees).

All in all, I am very pleased with the Apexi kit.

hey twinturboteddy, do you still have the pics from when you installed yours? I don't think I have the air intakes placed exactly where they are suppose to be. I would like to see how yours are situated and compare.

later,
