Pineapple Racing BT Idler Instal Issues
Has anyone else installed this on their FD yet?
I'm having major issues. The stud that the bracket goes on has about one thread coming through where you are supposed to attach a nut and the instructions say to discard the other stock bolt at the #4 position yet there wasn't a bolt included to replace it. If I use the OEM bolt its no where near long enough to thread into the WP housing.
Wondering if they tested this at all....

So PR didn't include one bolt so that fixes that. But the lower stud the bracket sits on still only has one thread sticking out and the acorn nut can't grab onto anything. Does anyone know if this stud is machined in or if it could be loosened from the block to gain some threads?

That doesn't look like it's in the right spot. I've installed a Pineapple idler pulley before and it was higher up than that.
Call Pineapple and talk with them about it, they're super helpful.

This is the Big turbo version that sits lower. Called Pineapple and we got it worked out. They included a long 120mm bolt that should replace the stud. If you don't want to do that. Just loosen the stud a few turns and you should have enough threads to get some bite.
If anyone see's this and has the same issue. Just call Pineapple or PM me and I'll help you out.
