pillow ball bushings

on the passenger's side upper A-arm, the snap-ring side of the bushing points towards the rear of the car.

on the driver's side upper A-arm, the snap-ring side of the bushing points towards the front of the car.

I'm just double checking if this is the way it suppose to be. or does it really matter which side I press the bushig int?

It should only press in from one side - I recall there being a lip on the end opposite the snap ring. If that direction changes from one location to the next I don't remember.
