Pillar Mount Gauges - Can you see them?

For those with pillar mounted gauges, especially boost -- can you really watch the boost?
Seems like it would be looking off axis to the left of where you're driving. I like the way they look on the pillar, just curous about the practical usage.

Thanks!

I have my greddy gauge pillar mounted. No problem checking it when driving, it's basically right in your face. In fact, I'd probably find more than one distracting. I'd think that dash or DIN gauges couldn't be much better as far as how far you have to look away from the road.

any gauge that u are planning on watching continuously is gonna be a distraction from the road. u cant possible be watching your boost gauge on every pull. the gauges on the a-pillar are definetly in a good spot to watch out of the corner of your eye though

I have a triple guage pod. Put the boost guage at the lowest position. That is the easiest to see. i put the others that I do not look at often up higher. Water temp is next then A/F last.
