Teddy has Smoked lens with silver (polished) houseings, I wanted Black Houseing with Smoked Lens, and that's the difference in the three

Teddy: Silver / Smoke
Me: Black / Smoke
Donovan: Black / Clear

Uh, Brad, I don't sell them BananaRE does, and I posted his e-mail in the very first post on this thread, I'm sure he'll look at this eventually, and contact you, but if you want a fast response, you might want to take the initiative here

Incorrect, teddy's are the smoked ones. He got the smoked prototype at sevenstock and donovan got the clear ones. IMO the smoked look a lot better. I have seen both in person, side by side and I would go smoked for any color car.
Ahh....thank you for clearing that up Waysho. Banana says that he won't have those in production for another 2 months..........grrrrrrrrrr.

I generally shy away from the "custom" look, but these look outstanding! I have no problem visualizing this as the OEM evolvement of the stock FD lights... had the model continued to be imported. If the workmanship matches the looks, I'd buy a pair.
CCarlisi, I think your way way harsh. Switch to real tobacco man.

I think the Clear with Black backround is as close as you can get to the stock '99 Spec. look. If you look at the '99 Spec. turn signal lights, they are also Clear lenses with black housings. The Polished backrounds have a slight hint of the "Alteza" look.

What style do guys think would look better on a black FD? The clear or black background?

I'm leaning toward the clear, because i think it would contrast the black well. Any thoughts?

If you look at the 99 spec light, it has the same polished look inside the lens, basically that's where I got the idea from.

I think the clear/polish backround is nice, but look at these '99 Spec. pics. They are clear with Black backround. That's what I meant by the clear with black looking closest to the '99 specs. They actually all look good. Some look better with certain color FD's. It's all up to each individuals taste. Glad to have this product available for the '93 +'s. I think I'll go with the Clear Black combo. Wow........i've posted way too many times on this thread. It's really late.

Sweet. Can you help clear something up for me? What exactly are the options here? From what I've read it seems there are threechoices available:

Black background, Smoked lens (the one you sell)
Black bg, clear lens (on rx7store.net)
polished bg, clear lens (on rx7store.net)

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Uh, I think BananaRE, is selling them to Rx-7store.net as well, cause he came up with the whole thing, so he's your man, but from the looks of things, Rx-7 store is passing on some of the savings of buying in bulk

I just put mine in tonight. I have to say that BananaRE was really cool and even was pretty damned patient even when I forgot my wallet

Here's one of the pics of my car, excuse the dirty engine. I left the the right light in there for comparison
Black housing clear lens
