damn....hood and bumper look very nice. it looks like that a very high quality hood. fits good as you say, and has very even (and small) gaps between it and the fenders and bumper.

...but its still a knockoff.

Yea still a knockoff; fits better than the original, quality is better, and it's over a thousand dollars cheaper. Yea you should go buy the original. Oh yea, they don't make them anymore.

PS. even if you beg, we will never sell you one of our hoods. Oh yea, you don't even have an RX-7. (don't take it personally, just messing with you).

Here's a couple of pics of the hood on the car today at the Mazda R&D Location: (where SevenStock is held)

So it fits !

PS. The hood was done last night, and we bolted it on this morning with no adjustments at all.

yeah guys I gotta give it to those caliboys that started this hole thing. They did a hell of a job. I think of the handful of people that got them so far I had the most problems by far the biggest being the shipper's fault. and I still gotta say the hood is great. Im real happy I took the gamble. the service has been exceptional too!

That CF hood looks pretty damn good. I personally am not a CF fan but Im sure it's quality like my FG one.

as for the question about fit of the 99 front end with all the other parts. It fit up pretty well. I used the 93 style reinforcement and cut the holes bigger to accomodate the new combination lights. It worked pretty well. the fenders were easy. the adjustment for the fenders on teh sides is right in front where you have to bolt the bumper also. In fact teh bumper and the fenders share 4 out of 6 of teh side bolts. just line them up flush and tighten the 4 bolts they share first then the last 2. The 99 nose is a nice boltup... just buy the lights, and don't forget to budget in for the new style brake ducts. If you look closely I have those in there... they arrived the day I tiik the pictures. Some day the under pan will also arrive. That 99 splitter sure adds to the BAD *** of the whole combination I choose. I think it ties it all together nicely.

anyone know a way to keep all the damn pollen from forcing me to wash the car 2 times a day. since I haven't even had it on the road a week I can't let that yellow ruin the fresh black finish.
well I gotta go get the mothers and wool mit out (wash the pollen)
