Pictures of my "Cleaned" engine bay.

Here is some pictures of my newly polished Upper intake manifold, Throttle body and Alternator. You will also notice that green thing on the upper left. I like to call it the ***** that F*&#ed me, because it refused to go on. So then I raped it, and it shut up after that.

Note- Thanks to Gotham Racing for doing such a good job on the polishing.

I think that if it didn't have 3 too many nuts it wouldn't fit at all.

Then Feed should pull its head out because for what those things cost they shouldn't look like they are cobbled together. The polishing looks great.

WOW, very nice!
How much did they charge to polish, if you don't mind me asking?

If I didn't have a nice shiny V-mount sitting downstairs I would have a nice shiny front mount
If Feed made them for the US spec cars then they wouldn't look like mine does. But since they don't you have to make your own ways around the ABS.

The FEED torque braces are not made for the US cars. You have to put on the extra nuts to clear the ABS.

I just modified the Bracket on the Fender to fit. As I recall it involved cutting the front end (narrow end) of the braket down approx 5/16" and redrilling another hole. My goal was to keep the piston motion perpendicular to the fender wall. No extra hardware required.

Sounds like a good idea, I may want to do that. But then again it's okay how it is for now. The polishing costed about $450 or so after all was said and done i believe. Thats with shipping 2 day air also. It may be a little cheaper if you send it regular freight.

Why would you want piston motion at all - doesn't this defeat the purpose of a torque brace? Its supposed to keep the motor from twisting right? - it seems with a piston you are just slowing it down instead of eliminating motion?
