RE Amemiya steering column mount is my favorite solution. It is expensive, though.

I have mine mounted on top of the steering column. This is probably the best place to mount a boost guage IMHO. It won't ubstruct the view of the tach and it's in the same area as the rest of your guages so you wont have to be looking to your side all of the time. I think it is greddy that makes the steering column guage pod. You can probably find it by doing a google search. The only problem is it costs a lot. I paid around 100 for mine. Well worth it.

Hey Maxcooper, I just noticed your rating. Was that rating given to you, or did you give it to yourself? That was one of the funniest episodes of The State ever. Thats not saying a whole lot though.

I have the steering column mount from Pettit...required a bit of sanding and gluing to get just right but I like it...You can see the link in my sig. Personally I think the steering column is the easiest place to watch it at high speed...

Congratulations, you are the first person to comment that knew what it was from! I think most people just think I am being sick. Which, I guess I am, but it was that skit from The State that inspired me.

I'm... outta heeeere!

A-pillar mount as low as possible for me. Just a sideways glance tells me everything I want to know. Duals block line-of-sight. I've got the Profec-B on the column now and it only blocks the 0k and 9k on the tach, neither are which are really relevant. It's a lighted VDO guage and is no longer crooked, btw.
