and so i think you guys git the point and now knwo what all the colors look liek with a matching lip. heres just another one of red...a better pic.

Yeah that's sweet. I painted my R1 spoiler to match my montego blue. It looks nice and all for 2 weeks. Than the curb thrashin, rocks, etc. chips the hell out of it too quik. But it still looks better than black i tell ya!

it's wierd, iin some colors teh lip looks better painted, and ugly in others.
I think it could be that i'm so used to seeing the r1 lip not painted, here and in japan.
If you do paint it, it must be a very flexible type, otherwise cracks will occur.
Maybe the 99spec lip would look better painted hehe.

Personally, I like the black lip on my red FD a lot more than the painted ones I've seen. I had always thought about putting one of these on until I saw Rob's. NICE JOB!
