Nice car. I wish the previous owner of mine hadn't taken of the front lip spoiler . It makes the VR's look so much better. They're like $150 for each half! Just two little pieces of plastic.

yeah, I have run against my roommate plenty of times. He can usually get a jump on me, but there is no contest, unless I fall asleep I can reel him in w/o any effort.
yeah, there are some paint chips on the front of my car, but that is just a reason for a new clip & vented hood. the car was in fantastic mechanical shape, and the body is pretty good, but not perfect.

Looks very nice.
Mothers makes this product called 'Back to Black' or something like that. It's like a polish for hard plastic pieces...would work well on your front lip. Makes it look all glossy and clean. Bling Bling!

i haven't heard of any stock 320hp WRXs in the US...there are plans to release the WRX STi next year but that still won't be 320hp stock...the potential to take the WRX to big hp exists though...but honestly, to make a WRX that can compete in a quarter mile with an RX7 would mean destroying every other aspect of the WRX that makes it good...you'd have to kill handling and kill suspension for sure...there is at least one 10 second WRX out there, but it's not good for anything but drags, not even street driveable really

The thing that buggers WRX's up for drag racing is their gearing.
I've got a "previous model" (2000 model that comes with 280hp stock) WRX STI and it's just got exhaust & ECU (haltech e6k) and it's around 360hp, it's bloody quick in the 1st 3 gears but because you have to grab 4th so much earlier than other cars, it's not a lot of good for drags.
It is bloody good point to point on twisty roads, especially with the semi slicks. thats where it shines, not in the straight line stuff Having said that it's still a high 12sec car.
We've had wrx's since 1994 in australia.

I never noticed it before but the Porsche kind of looks like the MX-6 from that angle...
