I wished! In general I think our pay here is on the lower side as compared to you guys in the States. A Fresh University Grad earns an average of US$1000 a month. Must be a reason why so many of us are looking for opportunities overseas

Both white ones are sold already. One is now purple the other is orange. Mine was originally blue but I sprayed her yellow.

Yup that "badly" taken care of FD was mine 2 years back. Actually ain't that bad. The kit rocks with the Mazdaspeed wing but the mods are a bit haphazard. At least it has got a relatively new engine. So what car you drive?

I don't know how Cossie got it done so fast. My workshop took 2 workers and 3 days! Maybe cause I needed a lot of fabrication work due to my a/c condensor. Other than that the kit came with all the necessary brackets including the battery tray.

There is one pic of the underside of the car though it is badly taken. My car is quite low so it is hard to take a picture of the underside of the car unless I jack it up. In genral I think the radiator height isn't a problem. More of the fans shrouding.

I oringinally wanted to go with Chuck's setup as well since I already bought the Scoot Hood from him. But price worked out to around the same but it was the shipping that killed the idea. I estimated shipping to be around US$300!

does that radiator get enuff air? it looks as though its almost horizontal, it looks as though the air will hit it end-on only and not across the fins , or do these pics do the setup no justice?

Nope, I had the same comments as you when I first saw my car. I was thinking WTF???

Looks like barely enough space for air to squeeze through, especially with the a/c condensor there. Initially it looked like only the end tanks will get the air flow. But HKS aren't who they are now for making inferior products. I admit stationary the car suffers. Water temps shoot up to 90+ but on the go I get 80 consistently and mid 70's in the night. My stock setup used to see 85 to 90. Apparently because the fans mounted underside suck air that pass through and the air flow isn't "blocked" like a FMIC. That is my thought on the matter though I may be wrong. But performance wise it is fantastic so far. One happy customer! Cossie can attest to the this!

My opinion on the kit

its great in terms of fit and function.
Dyno numbers are coming up soon and track testin has shown that it works great.
Intake temps have never gone more than 45 degreeC

EC>>
The M3 is doing well. we have had 4 test days this month.
the two cars are built rather different as the M3 has almost full race spec suspension (The cost of the suspension alone was 4 times as much as the FDs)
Going to Sepang? I should be at the Aug one.

ttyl, going to the track again tmw

The red car in my picture gallery was that FD before I sold it. I dropped in a recon engine in Late 2002. My previous engine blew outside Takashimaya. Was pulling with a BMW Coupe. I wanted to buy over the Mazdaspeed wing from my friend but he wanted $1500 for it. Plus he only sold it with the entire hood??? Why would I want a second hatch to put at home! Driving ain't fun in Singapore. Sometimes I regret becoming dependant on having a car. My car OWNS me man. She is more pampared than me my dog and girlfriend all put together

Well, it is Singapore and I ain't got a choice but to abide by their rules. They ban importing of cars that are more than 2 years old. And even if I found a 2 yr olf FD from say New Zealand I would have to pay 200% of the buying price in taxes. So you know why cars here cost so much
