Fabulous! Just the way it should come out of the factory. You have great taste.

Congratulations. You have a lot to be proud of.

thanks guys. they're 18x9 +40 and 18x10 +38. the camber is horrible right now. as soon as i get the diff put back together, i'm taking it in for a full alignment. i just put nwe coilovers on it a couple weeks ago, but wanted to wait for the new wheels to do height adjustment and alignment

bought them from a place a couple hours away from me called street sports. they're located in lexington, ky. i'm thinking the wheels were just a tad under $1400 shipped. the only bad part is it took 2 and a half months for them to get to me

Looks like my car! I got my wheels and tires for $2400 and the same size! I have a silver car and gold wheels, and actually the same front bumper. Looks awesome!

Yes well at least the Spirit R badge is appropriate for the car and its capabilities, Rogue. He's also gone to the 99+ spec front end so no big deal IMO. It's not really quite the same as slapping a Type R badge on a DX now is it?

No, its not, but it is the equivalent of slapping on a Type-R body kit onto a civic and calling it a Type-R.

yeah, and type-r's don't typically have a t78 and 439whp, now do they? i happen to love the spirit-r's and i know i'll probably never own one. however, with the titanium grey, the sidemarkers, and the '99 stuff, it just didn't look right without the badges. put me on any track near a spirit-r and i'll eat it. your average ricer isn't going to be doing any of that. if ya don't like it, fine, just say so. don't for one second compare me to some ricer in a honda

My favorite phrase would be "To each his own." Your car is clean, but what it isn't is a Spirit R. Similar to Lamborghini conversions on Fiero's.

Very clean, I love the wheels and the 99 spec kit.

r0gu3-I think comparing it to a lambo/fiero is a bit of a low blow, maybe a cobra to S281 would be a bit more fair.

Cool

I guess r0gu3 has a different view of the car world...

spoolin93r1,
The car looks fantastic!! Nobody will ever know the difference if it wasn't a "real" Spirit R (other than the whole RHD thing... )

I've got to ask a few things... first, how much do those wheels with tires weight? Second, did you have to roll the fenders?

I've been debating whether to go to 17's or 18's... The only thing that's been keeping me back is the lack of tire choices if you go with 17's.... Plus the weight factor! I'll assume having a 17" wheel is better suited for performance.
But those 18's look so mean and sinister!

Don't get me wrong, the car is awesome and cleanly done. (Throw up a underhood pic, I want to see that massive snail) I just think something shouldn't be called what it isn't. Indeed a Mustang with Saleen body panels would be a much better comparison.

I agree with r0gu3, it's nothing different than fake Integra Type-R's. That being said, nice choice in wheels. They go great with the body color.
